I try to find the esasiest and clearest way for presenting and consumming the data.
I design interfaces, organize web maps, define workflows, research other websites and sometimes I test the results with real users.
Sometimes I find new ways to do the stuff: here you can see a video that shows a website idea for the Department of Culutre of the Goverment of Catalonia (Generalitat de Catalunya). It's in catalan.
One of the best part of my job is the m multidisciplinarity: there are customers, dessigners, developers, writers, etc.
And liking people is necesary for doing a good User Centered Design.
Multimedia projects needs care, and require diferent treatment in each step of their growth.
I'm specialized in the early tasks such as defining the project concept and make it visible and the project management. But actually I allways do a little bit of everything.
Taking business requirements is a critical step in the project, a holistic vision is need and client relationship management is essential.
Usualy I do:
I enjoy doing this. I take all the info I put it in a blender and finally I sketch the solutions
I'm specialized in prototyping: The Information architecture, the layout structure and the user interaction. I use this tools to do this:
I keep the client calm and happy, I control the deliverables and the effort (hours), keeping the team calm, too. Sometimes I outsource tasks.
I'm very interested in Agile metodologies.
Sometimes I do usability testings on websites (mainly) already done. I look for imporvements and I suggest changes.
Lots of times I use usability.gov's guidelines as a checklist.
